A federal judge sentenced a Norwalk drug and alcohol counselor to two years in prison after he admitted to billing Medicaid for hundreds of psychotherapy sessions that never occurred.
The judge also ordered Alan Emmett Bradley, 57, to pay $151,898.75 in restitution.
According to Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bradley billed the state for many appointments while he “was actually living and attending school in Florida.”
Earlier this month, a Rhode Island dentist settled state Medicaid fraud claims against him for $9.9 million. He also
faces a federal indictment.
