According to data from the State of Connecticut’s Office of the State Comptroller, Connecticut’s annual debt service payments have grown dramatically over the twenty year period from 1986 to 2005. The State’s debt service tripled from 1986 to 1996 and have nearly doubled from 2006 to 2005.
